Obey the commandments

The bible says, "Ve por el país a todas las fuentes de agua y a todos los arroyos... Go into the land, unto all fountains of water, and unto all brooks" (1 Kings 18:5).  We had better be prepared at all times and places for every situation that might arise.  


You never know when you might have a chance, or as the senior apostle said: "Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately..." (John 21:3).


The Jaredites were prepared for their long journey: "...they did also prepare a vessel, in which they did carry with them the fish of the waters" (Ether 2:2).


We can learn much while fishing, like Lehi, who said "O that thou mightest be like unto this river, continually running into the fountain of all righteousness!  Chay yakushna kashkankiman; tukui alli kashka pukyuman chayak'ushakankiman." 1 Nephi 2:9).
