King Benjamin saw that the Lord would come "healing the sick, raising the dead, causing the lame to walk, the blind to receive their sight, and the deaf to hear, and curing all manner of diseases"... but that the people would reject his plan, "scourge him and crucify him..." (Mosiah 3:5,9) Those who felt His plan would gain popularity and give Him political power told lies to turn the people against Him, "because Satan stirreth them up continually to anger one with another... Satanska paykunapura p'iñanak'uchun yuyachik'unmi" (Moroni 9:3).
Why do they fight against the Lord and His plan? "For the natural man is an enemy to God... Yanka runak Achill-Taytata mana rikunayachinchu..., and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father.... Achill-Tayta payman ima nishkatapish katik, wawashna mana tukushpaka, ima punllapish shinallatami kanka" (Mosiah 3:19).
What is the solution? "And now, for the sake of these things which I have spoken unto you - that is, for the sake of retaining a remission of your sins from day to day, that ye may walk guiltless before God - I would that ye should impart of your substance to the poor, every man according to that which he hath, such as feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and administering to their relief, both spiritually and temporally, according to their wants... Kunanka ñuka nishkakunata uyarkankichik; Achill-Taytapak ñaupapi punllan punllan k'ucha illak kankapak tukui runakuna paykunapak charishkata kushpa, yark'achikkunaman karashpa, lluchukunata churachishpa, unkushkakunata rikugrishpa, uku-samaypi tullu-aychapi minishtirishakunata rikushpa paykunata shinchichishpa kikinkunapak charishkata wakchakunaman karachun munani" (Mosiah 4:26).
"And they had all things common among them; therefore there were not rich and poor, bond and free, but they were all made free, and partakers of the heavenly gift... Chayka tukuikunapak kachun tukuita tantachirka; chaymanta charikkunapish wakchakunapish wichashkakunapish kacharishkakunapish mana tiarkachu; ashtawankarin tukuillami paykunapak munayta ruray ushashpa jawa-pachamanta karayta charirka" (4 Nephi 1:3).
